What your child is playing.
The plain facts about The Sleepy Hollow Experience: what it is, how Roblox rates it, who can play it right now, and what it costs, which is nothing.
Is The Sleepy Hollow Experience suitable for my child?
Roblox labels it Maturity: Mild, with Violence (Repeated/Mild) as its only descriptor. It is a chase game with no blood and no weapon: the Horseman throws a pumpkin, and a caught player is knocked down and helped back up. Right now Roblox opens it to age-checked players 16 and older.
What it is
A village in 1790, a covered bridge, and a Headless Horseman who rides at nightfall. By day your child helps cover the bridge with planks. At nightfall the bell rings and everyone runs for it. Reach the bridge and you are safe. He can be played alone or with friends, and any player can put on the Horseman’s costume at the statue and ride as him.

Why 16+ for now
Roblox opens every new experience to age-checked players 16 and older first, and lets younger players in once the experience has passed an evaluation period on the platform. That is Roblox’s process, and it applies to every new game. Until it is done, a younger child cannot join, and we will not tell you otherwise. The day it changes, this page will say so.
Nothing to buy
The game is free to play and sells nothing inside it right now: no passes, no currency, no costumes for money. The Horseman’s costume is earned at the statue. If that ever changes, it will be written here first.
Setting limits on Roblox
Roblox’s parental controls cover who can chat with your child, what content they can see, how long they play and what they can spend. They live on Roblox, not here, and they are the right tool for all of it.
